Changu reminded me of Mikes love of tea (and cake)

In the late 80’s Mike and I had a BMW. We went out at the weekends on it and we undertook a tour around Europe on it camping in various countries. I have many happy memories of that holiday even though it rained a lot.

My darling Michael saw these amazing sculptures made of old car parts in December 2020 and said how much he loved them. He then suffered a massive bleed to the brain on 3rd January 2021 and died on 7th January 2021. I thought it would be lovely to have a statue of one of these creations in his memory for our garden.

Our love affair with the sunshine state started in the 80’s when we went for a what we thought was a holiday in a lifetime.

We stayed in a motel and enjoyed the two Disney Parks as that’s all there was then, and Sea World We stayed on International Drive for one week then went to the coast for the second and apart from when one day Mike had a day being sick we had a fabulous time.

Just a few years later and Mike had a well paid sales job and I started a full time job working in the Halifax we had saved up enough to build an extension on our house, but as I now worked at the Halifax we were able to extend our mortgage but still pay the same.

So then we had enough for a deposit for another house and after another visit to Florida, but this time staying in a Villa, we decided to buy a villa in Florida ourselves so in 1992 we became the very proud owner of The Oasis at Countryside Manor which we owned for almost 28 years until Covid and Mikes health made us have to come to the decision to sell it.

It utterly broke our hearts as we had hoped to get at least another trip out there. Our 4 weeks out there just before Mikes diagnosis was just so lovely. But so sadly it wasn’t to be

I have known Mike since I started my Forever Living Business as Karen is my upline. I have always found Mike to be pleasant and very supported with what myself and Karen have been doing with the Forever business.
You can rest in peace knowing that lots of people with be looking out for your amazing wife and son.
